HOW TO QUALIFY

2024 AQ logo.png
  • To qualify for the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch you must participate in the two-step qualifying process: the Area Qualifiers and the Regional Championships.  There are 8 regions to choose from.  The Lincoln Trail Area Qualifier is in the North Central region.

  • Riders must first attend the Area Qualifier and finish in an advancement position (Top 9) to guarantee a spot into the Regional Championship.   Riders who qualify must attend either the North Central Youth or Amateur Regional Championship based on their class.

  • Riders who place in an advancement position at the Area Qualifier are invited to the Regional Championship, but riders MUST pre-register with MX Sports by the deadline to keep their guaranteed spot.  Riders who do not obtain a guaranteed spot and wish to enter as an alternate must contact MX Sports.  The Regional Championship will use a unique three-moto format and riders must finish in the Top 6 to advance to the National Championship.

  • Riders who are qualified and wish to attend the National Championship must register with MX Sports.  Riders who do not obtain a guaranteed spot and wish to enter as an alternate must contact MX Sports
